Sage & Linen

A brush touches wet paper and a garden blooms in watercolour.

A sheet of cold-press watercolour paper lies taped to a board on soft linen, the garden only pencilled in. One touch of the brush and sage, olive and soft-white washes bleed across the wet paper, painting an arbour of eucalyptus and garden roses around your names. As the paint dries the masking tape peels away and the painting becomes the invitation. Celebrations are kept like pages of a garden journal, the countdown sits in the wells of a porcelain paint palette, and guests can paint the venue sketch themselves.
