Terms of service

These terms explain what you get when you buy a Duvier invitation. They’re written in plain language; if anything is unclear, email [email protected].

What you’re buying

A licence to personalise and publish one invitation from the chosen design, hosted at a unique link on our service for the hosting period you’ve purchased. Designs, artwork and code remain our property; your text, photos and music remain yours.

Hosting periods

Every purchase includes the standard hosting period shown at checkout (currently one month). Hosting starts when you first publish, not when you pay. Extensions bought after publishing add time from your current end date, or from the purchase date if hosting has already ended. Renewing never changes your link.

Editing window

Drafts can be edited without limit. After first publication you have the included editing window (currently 48 hours) to make changes; you can buy additional editing time. Editing and hosting are separate — your invitation remains online when editing closes.

What “Forever” hosting means

Forever hosting is an ongoing hosting entitlement with no fixed expiry date. Your invitation stays online for as long as Duvier operates the service, subject to these terms. It is not a guarantee of uninterrupted availability: like any website it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of outages we work to resolve. If we ever decide to close the service, we will give Forever customers at least 90 days’ notice by email and provide an export of their invitation content and RSVP data. Forever hosting may be withdrawn for invitations that breach these terms.

After hosting ends

Guests see a polite notice that the invitation has concluded; no personal details are shown. Your invitation and RSVP responses remain in your dashboard and can be renewed at the same link. We retain expired invitation content for at least 12 months after hosting ends, after which we may delete it with 30 days’ email notice. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Payments & refunds

Prices are shown before payment and charged by our payment provider. Because your invitation is a digital product delivered immediately, purchases are non-refundable once published, except where required by law. If something isn’t right before you publish, contact us and we’ll help.

Your content

You’re responsible for the names, text, photos and music you add, and confirm you have the right to use them. Don’t publish unlawful, hateful or infringing content. We may remove content that breaches these terms or that we’re legally required to remove.

Liability

We take great care with your invitation, but to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the invitation concerned.
