Noor · star-tessellation opening

Noor

An emerald and gold star tessellation unfolds into a page of light.

Made for Nikah and Walima celebrations. Guests touch a gilded eight-point star set into a field of emerald lacquer tiles; its two squares click into alignment, break apart, and the whole tessellation turns and folds back tile by tile, letting light flood an illuminated ivory page bearing your names. Kufic and Ruqaa lettering for Arabic, Nastaliq for Urdu, odometer stars for the countdown, a compass-and-straightedge star guests can draw themselves, and a moonlit courtyard to close.
