Maple & Ember · leaf-gust opening

Maple & Ember

A heap of autumn leaves on a twine-tied card. One gust, and they are gone.

Your guest finds a cotton card on a walnut table, tied with jute twine and buried under maple and oak leaves in burgundy, burnt orange and ochre. At a touch a gust of wind sweeps through: the twine snaps, the leaves tumble away across the screen, and the card rises to fill the view with your names in hand-lettered ink. The invitation continues with a pressed-leaf story page, a countdown carved into tree-ring slices, kraft-tag celebration cards with rubber-stamped dates and a little fire pit guests can stoke until the embers fly.
