Bali Jungle · candi-bentar-mist opening

Bali Jungle

Morning mist rolls back through a split temple gate onto emerald rice terraces.

A carved candi bentar gate stands in the dawn mist above Ubud, a woven palm-leaf garland knotted across its opening. Guests untie the garland: the mist banks roll back through the gate, frangipani drift down, the stone halves part and the camera glides through onto layered rice terraces, coconut palms and a volcano catching the sunrise. Inside: a palm-leaf manuscript message, a carved stone countdown, a day-by-day journey for a three-day destination wedding, a subak toy where guests send water down the terraces, and a golden-hour farewell.
